The Baltic/Colton legion baseball team was shut out by Lake Norden, 4-0, on Saturday, June 29th.
After two scoreless innings, Lake Norden got a run in the bottom of the third inning. The score remained 1-0 until the bottom of the seventh. Lake Norden got another run in the seventh and two more in the bottom of the eighth.
Baltic/Colton was held to just three hits in the game. Carter Sorenson had two doubles, and Nathan Madison finished with a single. Tyler Groenewold pitched seven innings and allowed two runs, one earned, on three hits and two walks with 14 strikeouts. Beau Breece pitched one inning and allowed two runs, one earned, on two hits.
