West Central scored six runs in the final two innings to earn a 9-4 win over Baltic on Sunday, May 12th.
Baltic scored the first two runs of the game. They got a run in the second and another in the third for the 2-0 lead. West Central scored one run in the top of the fourth and two more in the top of the fifth to take a 3-2 advantage. Baltic would tie the game with a run in the bottom of the fifth. West Central then scored two in the top of the sixth and four in the top of the seventh for a 9-3 lead. Baltic only scored one run in the seventh.
Braxton Allen finished with two hits, one a double, and an RBI. Riley Schultz had a single and an RBI. Beau Breece and J Goehring each had a double. Tate Feucht and Riiker Rogers each added a single. Schutlz pitched five innings and allowed three runs, one earned, on six hits and three walks with 12 strikeouts. Allen pitched an inning and allowed two earned runs on two hits and two walks. Breece pitched an inning and allowed two hits and a walk with one strikeout. Feucht allowed four earned runs on two walks.
