The Baltic high school baseball team stopped a five-game losing streak with a 6-0 win over Flandreau on Wednesday, May 8th.
Riley Schutlz drove home two runs with a single in the top of the first inning. Braxtono Allen had an RBI single in the second. Schultz would score on a wild pitch in the top of the third for a 4-0 lead. Ryder Siemonsma had an RBI ground out, and Tate Feucht reached on an error scoring Allen in the top of the fourth making the score 6-0.
Schultz had two hits, one a triple, and two RBIs. Allen had two singles and an RBI. Beau Breece finished with a double. Feucht and Jackson Goehring each had a single. Siemonsma added an RBI. Schultz pitched two innings without allowing a hit and striking out four. Feucht pitched three innings and allowed three hits and two walks with one strikeout. Allen threw two innings and allowed a hit while striking out four.
