The Baltic Bulldog girls lost their third game at the Big East Conference Tournament on Saturday, January 27th, giving them eighth place. The Bulldogs fell to the Parker Pheasants 51-35.
The Bulldogs fell behind in the first quarter and couldn’t overcome the deficit. Parker built a 16-2 lead by the end of the first quarter. Baltic cut the lead to 23-11 at halftime and then only trailed 42-29 going into the final quarter. The Pheasants then outscored Baltic 9-6 in the final quarter for the win.
Caitlyn Pickett had 13 points. Baylee Breece finished with eight points. Harper Kortemeyer added five points. Laci Hillman tallied four points. Kate Bouman had three points, and Meredith Larson had two points in the game.
