The Baltic Bulldogs hosted the Centerville Tornadoes on Tuesday, October 17th. The Bulldogs won their 18th match of the season in straight sets by scores of 25-16, 25-17, and 25-15.
The opening set was back and forth through the first half. The score was tied 4-4, 9-9, and again 13-13. The Bulldogs then went on a 6-2 run to go ahead 19-15. They continued their run to a 25-16 win. The second set started with a 4-4 tie and was tied again 8-8. The Bulldogs made another run in the second set. They went on a 5-2 run to take a 13-10 lead. That turned into an 18-12 lead for the Bulldogs before they took the set 25-17.
The third set started with a 3-3 tie, but then Baltic went on a 10-1 run for a 13-4 lead. The Bulldogs kept a healthy lead through the rest of the set. They were led 19-10, 25-13, and eventually won 25-15.
