Two Baltic Bulldog cross country runners qualified for state at the Region 2A meet held at Yankton Trail Park in Sioux Falls on Wednesday, October 11th. Kyle Gronewold (17th) and Alex Langner (18th) both placed in the top 20 to qualify individually for state. Both the girls team and the boys team had seventh place team finishes.
Hailey Tiahrt finished 23rd with a time of 21:04.10. Alexis Kehn (28th) had a time of 21:57.10. Sadey Holt (38th) completed in 23:13.00, and Meredith Larson (52nd) had a time of 26:25.70.
Gronewold placed 17th with a time of 17:59.50. Langner was 18th in a time of 18:00.90. Shae Fiala (39th) had a time of 19:43.00. Garrett Wilkison (48th) completed in 20:26.80, and Jack Wilde (55th) had a time of 20:42.10.
The 2023 South Dakota State A Cross Country meet will be held at Yankton Trail Park in Sioux Falls on Saturday, October 21st.
