The Baltic Bulldog football team traveled to Menno to face the Scotland/Menno Trappers on Friday, September 15th. The Trappers scored three times in the first half for the 20-0 win.
The first score came on the opening drive. With 9:59 left in the first quarter, the Trappers scored on an 11-yard touchdown pass. The made extra point gave Scotland/Menno a 7-0 lead. The score remained 7-0 until the first few seconds of the second quarter. With 11:50 to go in the half, the Trappers scored on a five-yard run and made the extra point for a 14-0 lead. Their final score happened in the final seconds of the half. On fourth down the Trappers converted a 35-yard pass for a touchdown as the clock hit 0:00.
Scotland/Menno led 20-0 at halftime. Both defenses held strong throughout the entire second half. Neither team was able to get much going offensively, and the final score remained 20-0.
