Baltic 16U got behind early, but got into too big of a hole against Tea Gold on Monday, July 17th. Tea scored in every inning but on in their 21-6 win.
Tea Gold scored four runs right away in the top of the first, two in the second, and four more in the third for a 10-0 lead. Baltic got one run in the bottom of the third. Tea added another five runs in the top of the fourth. Baltic got those five runs back in the bottom of the fifth to cut the lead to 15-6, but Tea scored six more in the top of the sixth.
Baltic only had two hits in the game. Jackson Goehring had a single and an RBI. Riiker Rogers finished with a double. Elias Oakley added an RBI. Six different players pitched for Baltic. Goehring, Isaac Oakley, Joey Grunewaldt, and AJ Grunewaldt each recorded two strikeouts. E. Oakley had one strikeout.
