Great Year Predicted for Baltic Golf Teams

The Baltic Bulldog golf teams had three state qualifiers from a year ago, and head coach Lynette Coker thinks this season will be a great year for the Bulldogs.

The boys team will have 12 golfers led by seniors Matt Muston and Andrew Tomerassen.

“We have several returning golfers and the competition will be fierce as they battle for their place on the team,” said Coker of the boys team.

The girls team will have state qualifier Claire Berg back this season as one of the two varsity girls golfers.

“Claire not only is strong at hitting and in her putting game, but her mental game is very impressive.  She remains calm and collected throughout her rounds.  I look to see her place in the top 10 of the state tournament,” added Coker.

The Bulldogs are currently scheduled to have their first tournament on Monday, April 10th in Mitchell with a tournament in Garretson on April 11th and one in Yankton on April 13th.
