The Alcester-Hudson Cub track team traveled to Scotland for the Great Plains Conference meet on Tuesday, April 29th. The girls team finished sixth with 53 points. The boys team was fourth with 78.5 points.
Devin Hongslo placed second in the shot put with a throw of 34’4.25″. Emily Winquist was second in the triple jump with a leap of 32’9″. The 4x100m relay team of Winquist, Ayonna Schissel, Elsie Bovill, and Emma Solberg was third in :54.78. The 4x200m relay team of Winquist, Schissel, El. Bovill, and Solberg took in a time of 1:53.64. The 4x400m relay team of Winquist, Schissel, El. Bovill, and Solberg also placed third in 4:24.04.
Ethan Bovill won the 400m dash in :53.65 and took third in the 200m dash in :24.77. The 4x400m relay team of Evan Brown, Darin Dykstra, E. Bovill, and Andrew Bovill won in a time of 3:45.42. The 4x200m relay team of Brown, Brody Andrews, Dykstra, and E. Bovill was second in 1:36.95. Jackson Meyer was third in the 110m hurdles with a time of :19.22. Dykstra took third in the the 300m hurdles in :45.57.
