The Alcester-Hudson Cub track team traveled to Canton for the Terry Bong Invite on Thursday, May 1st. The girls team was sixth with 34 points. The boys team placed seventh with 56 points.
Tommy Walth won the javelin with a throw of 142’4″. Izzac Sommervold won the triple jump with a leap of 38’7″. Jackson Meyer was second in the triple jump at 38’3.5″. Evan Haak was second in the discus with the throw of 138’6″. Jose Topete-Lopez finished third in the shot put with a throw of 46’2″.
Emily Winquist won the 400m dash in a time of 1:03.34, finished second in the triple jump with a leap of 32’11”, and placed third in the long jump with a jump of 15’2.5″. Devin Hongslo was second in the shot put with a throw of 35’3.25″.
