The Alcester-Hudson Cub track teams took part in the Centerville Invitational on Tuesday, April 15th.
The 4x100m relay team of Elsie Bovill, Cheyenne Christie, Tarryn Haisch, and Emma Solberg took the top spot with a time of :56.08. Devin Hongslo was second in the shot put with a throw of 35’3″. Emily Winquest was second in the triple jump (31’8″), third in the long jump (15’3″), and third in the 400m dash (1:04.26). The 4x200m relay team of Winquist, Haisch, Bovill, and Solberg took second in 1:54.32. Solberg had a third-place finish in the 200m dash (:28.03) and third in the 300m hurdles (:53.21).
Ethan Bovill won the 400m dash in a time of :53.01. The 4x400m relay team of Evan Brown, Bovill, Brody Andrews, and Darin Dykstra took the top spot with a time of 3:39.00. Jose Topete-Lopez placed second in the shot put with a throw of 45’11.75″. Tommy Walth was second in the javelin at 142’11”. Andrews took third in the 400m dash in :53.60. The 4x200m relay team of Brown, Bovill, Dykstra, and Andrews finished third in 1:36.40.
