Both the Beresford/Alcester-Hudson girls and boys wrestling teams had wrestlers compete in the 2024 South Dakota Wrestling Championships in Sioux Falls February 22nd through 24th. The girls team finished with 22 points. The boys team had six points.
Reese Olson finished third individually for the girls team with a 4-1 record. All four wins were by pins.
Owen Serck (106) and Robert Watkins (157) had one pin each at the tournament. Dexton Miller (120), Tate Lyle (126), and Caden Schurch (144) took part in the tournament all finishing with an 0-2 record.
