The Beresford/Alcester-Hudson Ram wrestling teams competed in tournaments recently.
The girls team took part in the Yankton Girls Invitational on Friday, February 7th. Lillie Boden was the lone varsity wrestler in the tournament. She finished 0-2 on the day.
The boys team was at the Big East/LCC Tournament on Saturday, February 8th. The Rams finished fifth with 110.0 points.
Owen Serck won the 106-pound class with a 3-0 record. Bennett Farley took second in the 113-pound class with a 3-1 record. Dexton Miller (132) also placed second with a 3-1 record.
Caden Schurch (157) took third with a 3-1 record. Sebastian Castillo (120) was fourth and finished with a 4-2 record. Connor Neumayr (285) had a 3-2 record on the day. Ben Seeley (126) finished with a 2-2 record. Corbin Buum (165) and Isaac Boden (175) both finished with an 0-2 record.
