Beresford/Alcester-Hudson Wrestling Takes Fourth in Garretson

The Beresford/Alcester-Hudson Watchdog boys wrestling team took fourth place at the Jesse James Invitational in Garrretson on Saturday, January 6th.  The Watchdogs finished with 122.0 points.  The girls team finished third with a total of 9.0 points.

For the boys team, Owen Serck placed second in the 106-pound class with a 3-1 record.  Dexton Miller also took second in the 120-pound class with a 3-1 record.   Jensen Christensen (157) took third with a 4-1 record.  Tate Lyle (126) placed fourth with a 3-2 record.  Evan Brown (175) finished fourth with a 3-2 record.

Bennett Farley (113) had three wins in the tournament.  Ben Seeley (126), Caden Schurch (144), Robert Watkins (165), and Taten Twedt (190) all had two wins each on the day.  Evan Dressen (132), Darnell Vermeersch (150) and Isaac Boden (150) both had one win each.  Kanin Klentz (138), Kasen Voss (144), and Connor Neumayr (285) also took part in the tournament.

For the girls team, Reese Olson won her division with two wins.  Lillie Boden finished second with an 0-2 record.
