Watchdog Boys and Girls Wrestling Teams Both in Action

The Beresford/Alcester-Hudson Watchdog boys wrestling team competed in the Elk Point-Jefferson Huskies Invitational on Saturday, December 16th.  The Watchdogs finished ninth as a team with 68.5 points.

Owen Serck took first place in the 106-pound class with two pins and a sudden victory in the championship match.  Dexton Miller (120) took third place with three wins.  Tate Lyle (126) also placed third with a 5-1 record.  Bennett Farley (113) finished fourth with a 3-2 record.

Ben Seeley (132), Kasen Voss (144), Caden Schurch (150), Jensen Christensen (157), Isaac Boden (165), Evan Brown (175), Taten Twedt (215), and Connor Neumayr (285) all took part in the tournament as well.

The Beresford/Alcester-Hudson Watchdog girls wrestling team was in Canton for the 2023 Battle for the Paddle tournament also on Saturday.  The Watchdogs finished 12th with 26 points.

Reese Olson won her division with a 3-0 record which included two pins and a decision win.  Lillie Boden finished 0-2 in the tournament.
