The Alcester-Hudson Cubs will be joining many other schools that will be participating in the inaugural season for high school softball in 2023. The Cubs have 26 competitive girls ready to hit the field.
“As a team we will focus on our strength on the field as well as some very knowledgeable players to lead us through the season,” said head coach Dean Moller.
The team will have strong leadership from seniors Ashlynn Smith and Ella Serck, juniors Sarah Ebert, Alexis Gray, and Elly Doering, sophomore Emma Moller, freshman Delta Pies, and eighth grader Paxtyn Moller. Alcester-Hudson will also have other very athletic, young players.
The Cubs are tentatively scheduled to play in the Beresford tournament on Saturday, April 1st for their first games of the 2023 season.
