The West Central Trojan track teams had a good day at the Dakota Valley Invite on Tuesday, April 25th.\u00a0 Several athletes had top five finishes for the day.<\/p>\n

Emma Goehring won the 100m dash.\u00a0 Molli Thornton took first in the 200m dash and long jump.\u00a0 Cambell Fischer took second in the shot put.\u00a0 The 4x200m relay team of E. Goehring, Rayna Goehring, Baylee Poss, and Thornton took first place.\u00a0 The 4x200m relay team of Thornton, R. Goehring, Poss and E. Goehring finished second.\u00a0 The sprint medley relay team of Poss, R. Goehring, Tessa VanOverbeke, and Bailey Stallman also placed second.\u00a0 Brie Peters placed third in the 1600m run.\u00a0 VanOverbeke also placed fourth in the triple jump.\u00a0 The 4x800m relay team of Stallman, Cambree Ideker, Jazelle Jarding, and Peters finished fourth.<\/p>\n

The 4x200m relay team of Wyatt Nielsen, Carter Schmeichel, Jude Jarding, and Layton Johnson finished first.\u00a0 Johnson had a second place finish in the 100m dash.\u00a0 Jarding was second in the 400m dash.\u00a0 Liam Schmeichel was third in the 110m hurdles, fourth in the 300m hurdles, and second in the high jump.\u00a0 Benjamin Strunk took third in the 800m run and fourth in the 1600m run.\u00a0 The 4x800m relay team of Dylan Stromer, Strunk, Patrick Hammond, and Jonathan Roth was third. Neilsen was fourth in the 100m dash and fifth in the 400m dash.\u00a0 The sprint medley relay team of Preston Butts, Elliot DeJong, Aiden Bartmann, and Evan Jaton finished fourth.\u00a0 Butts finished fifth in the 200m dash.\u00a0 Jonathan Roth was fifth in the 3200m run.<\/p>\n
