\"\"The West Central Trojan girls and boys track teams had another strong showing early in the 2023 season.\u00a0 West Central had multiple top eight finishes at the Dan Lennon Invite at the USD Dakota Dome on Tuesday, March 28th.<\/p>\n

Molli Thornton took second place in the long jump.\u00a0 Drew Caffrey was third in the 3200m run.\u00a0 The 4x200m relay team of Emma Goehring, Alexa Borns, Baylee Poss, and Thornton finished third.\u00a0 Goehring also placed fifth in the 60m dash and sixth in the long jump.\u00a0 Brie Peters finished eighth in the 1600m run.<\/p>\n

Benjamin Strunk won the 1600m run and placed seventh in the 800m run.\u00a0 The 4x400m relay team of Wyatt Nielsen, Carter Schmeichel, Jude Jarding, and Layton Johnson had a second place finish.\u00a0 Johnson took third in the 60m dash.\u00a0 Jonathan Roth had a fourth place finish in the 3200m run and eight place finish in the 800m run.\u00a0 Jarding was seventh in both the 400m dash and long jump.<\/p>\n
