A seventh-inning run sealed the win for the Trojans against the Falcons.\u00a0 Each team posted a run in the second inning.\u00a0 Ayla Kramer had a solo home run to put the Trojans ahead 2-1.\u00a0 Each team again scored a run in the fifth, and West Central led 3-2 after five innings.\u00a0 Miley Travis had an RBI triple in the top of the seventh for the insurance run.<\/p>\n
Travis had three hits, a single, double, and triple, with two RBIs.\u00a0 Kramer added three hits, one a home run, and an RBI.\u00a0 Sophie Rolfson had two hits, one a triple.\u00a0 Addy Kunzweiler also had a hit.\u00a0 Emery Hartman pitched seven innings and allowed two unearned runs on four hits and six walks with seven strikeouts.<\/p>\n
The Watchdogs took an early lead and ended the game with a big sixth inning for the 14-4 win.\u00a0 Beresford scored a run in the bottom of the first and four more in the bottom of the second for a 5-0 lead.\u00a0 The Trojans picked up two runs in the top of the third, but Beresford scored two runs in bottom of the fourth and two more in the fifth for a 9-2 lead.\u00a0 West Central had two more runs in the top of the sixth.\u00a0 The Watchdogs then scored five runs in the bottom of the sixth to end the game on the 10-run rule.<\/p>\n
Kramer had two hits, one a triple, and an RBI.\u00a0 Stella Siemonsma had two hits, one a double.\u00a0 Maddy Kunzweiler also had two hits.\u00a0 A. Kunzweiler had a single and two RBIs.\u00a0 Teagan Lupkes added a hit and an RBI.\u00a0 Rolfson, Emma Voeltz, and Izzy McKinney all had one hit each.\u00a0 Hartman pitched one inning and allowed five runs, one earned, on two hits and four walks with a strikeout.\u00a0 Linzie Hoff tossed 4 2\/3 innings and allowed nine runs, five earned, on 11 hits and a walk with strikeouts.<\/p>\n
The Trojans bounced back with a come-from-behind win over the Chargers.\u00a0 A. Kunzweiler had a two-run double in the top of the second for a 2-0 lead.\u00a0 Sioux Falls Christian would grab the lead, 3-2, with three runs in the bottom of the sixth.\u00a0 The Trojans would put together a two-out rally in the top of the seventh.\u00a0 Kramer had a two-run RBI double to make the score 4-3.\u00a0 Siemonsma and Voeltz each had an RBI single to extend the lead to 6-3.<\/p>\n
