For the boys, Peyton Tetzlaff led the Trojans with a first-place finish in the 3200m run, crossing the line in 9:59.48. Tetzlaff also placed fifth in the high jump after clearing 5\u20198\u2033. Dominic Butts had an outstanding day in the hurdles, winning both events. He captured the 110m hurdles in 16.12 and the 300m hurdles in 40.38.<\/u><\/u><\/p>\n
In the sprints, Chase Stromer finished third in the 200m dash with a time of 24.90, while Max Poss placed second in the 400m dash in 55.46. In the distance races, Kyper Hilger took fifth in the 1600m run with a time of 5:30.03. Peyton Barrick finished fifth in the 100m dash with a time of 11.86.<\/u><\/u><\/p>\n
West Central also had strong performances in the field events. Kolte Garry finished fourth in the shot put with a throw of 45\u20199\u2033. Ayden Henderson placed third in both the discus with a throw of 127\u201910\u2033 and the javelin at 146\u20196\u2033. In the jumps, Zach Nielsen cleared 5\u201910\u2033 to place fourth in the high jump, while Peyton Barrick finished fourth in the triple jump with a leap of 36\u20195.5\u2033.<\/u><\/u><\/p>\n
The boys relay teams had some strong finishes including the 4x100m relay including Kevin Cholopray, Chase Stromer, Boche Knight and Elliot DeJong with a second-place finish with a time of 45.56. Dominic Butts, Keenan Hacket, Boche Knight and Elliot DeJong placed second in the 4x200m relay in 1:32.84. The 4x400m team of Brody Johnson, Max Poss, Zach Nielsen and Dominic Butts finished in second-place with a time of 3:40.68. Kyper Hilger, Drayden Deffenbaugh, Brody Johnson and Judah Wuebben placed fourth in the 4x800m relay in 9:46.84. The SMR had a third place finish in 3:50.10 with Keenan Hacket, Boche Knight, Brody Johnson and\u00a0 Zach Nielsen.<\/u><\/u><\/p>\n
For the girls, the Trojans were led by a dominant performance in the 1600m run. Sarah Johnson won the event in 5:39.57, while Brooklyn Sundermann placed second in 5:43.17 and Sadie Wuebben finished third in 5:43.87. Wuebben also placed fourth in the 800m run with a time of 2:39.84, while Aubrey Borns finished second in the 800m in 2:31.00.<\/u><\/u><\/p>\n
Vera Jesse had a strong performance in the 100m dash earning a fourth-place finish with a time of 13.46.<\/u><\/u><\/p>\n
In the relays, the Lady Bulldogs brought in a first-place finish in the 4x200m relay with Avery Pressler, Morgan Haneke, Maelee Krempges and Baylee Poss with a time of 1:49.74. The 4x100m relay including Pressler, Jesse, Krempges and Poss finished second in 51.49. Addison Jaspers, Krempges, MacKenzie Skonhovd and Baylee Poss executed a third-place finish in the 4x400m relay in 4:24.48. The 4x800m relay had a first-place finish with Aubrey Borns, Brooklyn Sundermann, Lucy Rozeboom and Sarah Johnson in 10:15.88. Avery Pressler, Jesse, Jaspers and Skonhovd finished second in the SMR with a time of 4:26.72.<\/u><\/u><\/p>\n
In the hurdles, Maddyx Ingalls took fifth in the 300m hurdles with a time of 51.44. Ellie Knight added a fifth-place finish in the javelin with a throw of 88\u20195\u2033, and Vera Jesse placed fifth in the long jump with a leap of 16\u20196\u2033.
