The Trojans put 13 runs on the board in the bottom of the first and then had two runs in the bottom of the third to end the game on the 15-run rule.\u00a0 West Central had a total of 14 hits in the game.<\/p>\n
Izzi Parsons had three hits and an RBI.\u00a0 Ayla Kramer finished with two triples and six RBIs.\u00a0 Hanna Raethz had two doubles and an RBI.\u00a0 Jocelyn Nilson added two singles and an RBI.\u00a0 Addy Kunzweiler had two hits, one a triple.\u00a0 Emillee Stofferahn had a triple and an RBI.\u00a0 Caitlyn Hoff had a double and an RBI.\u00a0 Elisabeth Miller finished with a single and two RBIs.\u00a0 Stofferahn pitched three innings without allowing a hit with six strikeouts.<\/p>\n
The Trojans scored seven straight runs to erase a 4-2 deficit to help them to an 11-5 win in the semifinals over the Bulldogs.\u00a0 Madison scored three times in the top of the first inning, but West Central responded with two in the bottom of the inning.\u00a0 After a scoreless second inning, Madison scored a run in the top of the third for the 4-2 lead.\u00a0 The Trojans then scored three in the bottom of the third and four in the bottom of the fourth for a 9-4 lead.\u00a0 The Bulldogs had a run in the fifth, and the Trojans scored two more in the bottom of the fifth.<\/p>\n
Nilson had three hits, including a triple and double, with four RBIs.\u00a0 Raethz finished with three hits, one a double, and an RBI.\u00a0 Kramer had two hits, one a double, with three RBIs.\u00a0 Hoff had two hits, one a double, and two RBIs.\u00a0 Miller also had a single and an RBI.\u00a0 Hoff pitched seven innings and allowed five earned runs on five hits and two walks with 10 strikeouts.<\/p>\n
The Titans scored the final nine runs of the game to take the championship game 9-5 over West Central.\u00a0 The Trojans got three runs in the bottom of the second and then added two more in the bottom of the fourth for a 5-0 lead.\u00a0 Tea Area scored two runs in the top of the fifth and one in the sixth to cut the lead to 5-3.\u00a0 With two outs in the top of the seventh, the Titan offense rallied after an error to score six runs to go ahead 9-5.<\/p>\n
