Early and often scoring fueled a win over Tri-Valley Maroon on Friday.\u00a0 They scored four runs in the first, four runs in the second, and six in the third for a 14-0 lead.\u00a0 After Tri-Valley scored two times in the top of the fourth, West Central got three more runs and ended the game in the bottom of the fourth.<\/p>\n
Keaton Vessells had two hits, one a triple, and four RBIs.\u00a0 Jesse Jost finished with two hits, including a home run, and two RBIs.\u00a0 CJ DenBoer and Nick Lorang both had two hits and an RBI each.\u00a0 Landen Holewa finished with a double and an RBI.\u00a0 Bubba Kono and Anthony Lanham both had a single.\u00a0 Zach Lorang had an RBI.\u00a0 Vessells pitched all four innings allowing two earned runs on a hit and four walks with nine strikeouts.<\/p>\n
West Central again scored in every inning in a 12-2 win over Garretson on Saturday.\u00a0 Garretson scored the first run in the top of the first.\u00a0 West Central took the lead with two runs in the bottom of the first and then added three more in the second.\u00a0 Garretson got another run in the top of the third to cut the lead to 5-2.\u00a0 West Central then scored four times in the bottom of the third and three in the bottom of the fourth.<\/p>\n
Kono had three hits, including a double, and an RBI.\u00a0 N. Lorang also had three hits and an RBI.\u00a0 Lanham had two hits, one a double, and four RBIs.\u00a0 Cain Grocott added a single and two RBIs.\u00a0 DenBoer had a single and an RBI.\u00a0 Jost and Carter Evans each had two hits.\u00a0 Lanham pitched five innings allowing two runs, one earned, on three hits and a walk with two strikeouts.<\/p>\n
West Central and Madison were tied 2-2 after two innings of play, but Madison scored six times in the bottom of the third and four more in the bottom of the fourth to go ahead 12-2.\u00a0 West Central rallied for four runs in the top of the fifth, but was held scoreless in the final two innings.<\/p>\n
