Vermillion scored five early runs and nine runs late in their 14-1 in on July 9th.\u00a0 They scored three in the top of the first and two in the second for a 5-0 lead.\u00a0 Colton scored their only run in the bottom of the second.\u00a0 Vermillion then added three in the fourth and six in the fifth before the game ended on the 10-run rule.<\/p>\n
Aiden Bunde had a double with an RBI.\u00a0 Tristen Bunde and Denton Bicknase each had a single in the game.<\/p>\n
The Yard Goats pulled away late in a back-and-forth game with Groton on July 10th.\u00a0 Groton scored three times in the top of the first inning, but Colton tied the game, 3-3, with three runs in the bottom of the second.\u00a0 Groton went back in front, 5-3, with two runs in the top of the third.\u00a0 The Yard Goats again tied Groton, 5-5, with two runs in the bottom of the fifth.\u00a0 Colton then scored three times in the bottom of the fifth to earn the win.<\/p>\n
A. Bunde had a home run and a double with an RBI.\u00a0 Alex Wingen ended with two hits and an RBI.\u00a0 Ryan Lehman also had two hits.\u00a0 Brody Dybvig had a single with two RBIs.\u00a0 T. Bunde and Bixknase both had a hit and one RBI each.\u00a0 Landon Schenkel had a double, and Mason Hemme had a single.<\/p>\n
The Yard Goats stopped a seventh-inning rally to hold for a 5-4 win on July 11th.\u00a0 Colton scored two times in the top of the first.\u00a0 They held the 2-0 lead until the bottom of the fourth.\u00a0 Devils Lake tied the game with two runs in the fourth.\u00a0 Colton then scored two more runs in the top of the fifth and another in the top of the sixth for a 5-2 lead.\u00a0 Devils Lake scored twice in the bottom of the seventh and had the tying run on base with one out, but a strikeout and fly out ended the rally and game.<\/p>\n
Nathan Madison had two hits and two RBIs.\u00a0 Carter Sorenson also had two hits.\u00a0 Dybvig, T. Bunde, and Schenkel all had one hit each.\u00a0 A. Bunde ended with two RBIs.<\/p>\n
Lisbon rallied for six late runs to steal a 7-4 win over the Yard Goats on July 12th.\u00a0 After two scoreless innings, Colton took the lead, 2-0, with two in the bottom of the third.\u00a0 Each team scored a run in the fourth inning.\u00a0 Colton added another in the bottom of the fifth for a 4-1 lead.\u00a0 Lisbon cut the lead to 4-3 with two runs in the top of the sixth.\u00a0 They would rally for four runs in the top of the seventh to take the win.<\/p>\n
