West Central held a 2-0 lead after scoring two runs in the bottom of the first.\u00a0 Landen Holewa scored on an error, and Rayce Whiting had an RBI single.\u00a0 Tri-Valley cut the lead in half after Treyson Richter hit an RBI sacrifice fly in the top of the third.\u00a0 Alex Wingen tied the game with an RBI single in the top of the fourth.\u00a0 The score remained 2-2 until the top of the seventh.\u00a0 Nathan Madison hit an RBI single to center, and Richter also scored on an error to put Tri-Valley in front 4-2.\u00a0 West Central got a two-out double from Caden Alfson, but he was unable to score.<\/p>\n
For Tri-Valley, Madison had two hits and an RBI.\u00a0 Everett Althoff and Tyler Groenewold both had two singles each.\u00a0 Wingen and Richter each had a single and an RBI.\u00a0 Hunter Foster also added a hit.\u00a0 Landon Schenkel pitched 4 1\/3 innings and allowed two earned runs on six hits and a walk with six strikeouts.\u00a0 Tristen Bunde pitched 2 2\/3 innings and allowed two hits with three strikeouts.<\/p>\n
For West Central, C. Alfson had three hits, including a double.\u00a0 Whiting finished with two hits and an RBI.\u00a0 Brodie Herr, Keaton Vessells, and Gunnar Alfson all had one hit each.\u00a0 Holewa pitched four innings and allowed two runs, one earned, on six hits and two walks with one strikeout.\u00a0 C.
