The De Smet Bulldogs golf team had a great day at the Region 2B Tournament in Dell Rapids on Monday, May 20th. The boys team qualified the entire team for state by placing second as a team with a score of 245. The girls team qualified two individuals for state.
Max Kees finished third individually with a round of 78. Danny Sudenga was one shot behind with a 79 and placed seventh. Kayden Fast was 18th with a round of 88. Tom Aughenbaugh (21st) had a 90 on the day.
Brooke Jennings finished third individually with a round of 92. Harper Anderson also qualified for state with a 14th place finish after a round of 104.
The girls State B Tournament will be held at Edgebrook Golf Course in Brookings. The boys State B Tournament will be at the Brookings Country Club. Both tournaments will be held on June 3rd and 4th.
