Four golfers for De Smet, three boys and one girl, qualified for the state tournament after the region meet in Dell Rapids on Tuesday, May 23rd. The boys team finished fifth with a score of 262. The girls team placed sixth with a 329.
Kasen Janssen finished sixth with a round of 81. Tom Aughenbaugh finished 15th with a round of 88. Cael Schoenfelder also qualified for state finishing with a 93. Harper Anderson qualified for state for the girls with a 106 on the day.
Brooke Jennings just missed the cut for state with a round of 107. Ivey Schoenfelder had a 116, and Jacie McCune had a 120. Dan Sudenga finished with a 95.
