Bulldog Boys Bounce Back with Win in Flandreau

The De Smet Bulldogs bounced back into the win column with a 68-30 win over the Flandreau Fliers on Tuesday, February 7th.

The Bulldogs led by only six, 12-6, by the end of the first quarter.  The De Smet defense then held Flandreau to just four second-quarter points while extending their lead to 31-10 by halftime.  De Smet outscored the Fliers 15-11 in the third quarter for a 46-21 lead going into the fourth quarter.

The Bulldogs shot 50% (23-46) overall in the game, 44% (11-25) on three-point shots, and 69% (11-16) from the free-throw line.  Flandreau was just 27% (11-41) shooting overall, 30% (6-20) on three-point attempts, and 2-4 from the free-throw line.

Damon Wilkinson had 17 points and 15 rebounds.  Kadyn Fast ended with 13 points, five rebounds, and five assists.  Kasen Janssen added 12 points and four rebounds.  George Jensen finished with seven points, three rebounds, and three blocked shots.
