The De Smet Bulldogs cross country team participated in the Don Ray Invite hosted by Deubrook High School for their first meet of the year on Saturday, August 27th. The girls team finished 10th with 96 points. The boys team finished 11th with 108 points.
Selah Hirschkorn (32nd) finished with a time of 25:02.50. Aubree Blue (33rd) was just three seconds behind with a time of 25:05.50. Alyssa Asleson (40th) had a time of 25:50.25. For the boys team, Chase Temme (33rd) finished with a time of 22:33.78. Connor Johnson (44th) had a time of 26:47.18, and Ethan Johnson (45th) had a time of 26:48.69.
De Smet will be at the McCook Central/Montrose Invite in Salem on Tuesday, August 30th.
