In the first game of the evening, Dell Rapids’ offense was rolling as they took the three-inning win.\u00a0 They scored six times right away in the top of the first inning.\u00a0 Baltic did cut the lead in half, 6-3, with a three-run bottom of the first.\u00a0 Dell Rapids would get those three runs back in the top of the second.\u00a0 They then had an 11-run top of the third for a 20-3 lead.\u00a0 Baltic scored one time in the bottom of the third, and the game ended on the 15-run rule.<\/p>\n
Drake Eastman had two hits, including a home run, and four RBIs.\u00a0 Tommy LaVoy ended with two singles and two RBIs.\u00a0 Carson Maeschen had a double with two RBIs.\u00a0 Kenny Swanson added a single and two RBIs.\u00a0 AJ Brandenburg had a hit and an RBI.\u00a0 Jackson Peppel had a single.\u00a0 Jake Heinitz ended with two RBIs, and Lincoln LeBrun had one RBI.\u00a0 Owen Bollock pitched three innings and allowed four runs, two earned, on four hits and a walk with two strikeouts.<\/p>\n
Clark held a 2-1 lead after the first inning, but Dell Rapids kept adding runs throughout the game to get the win.\u00a0 Dell Rapids had two runs in the second, one in the third, and two more in the top of the fourth to make the score 6-2.\u00a0 After a scoreless fifth inning, they added three more runs in the top of the sixth and another three in the seventh for a 12-2 lead.\u00a0 Clark Area added two runs in the bottom of the seventh inning.<\/p>\n
Swanson had two hits and an RBI.\u00a0 Peppel ended with two hits, one a double.\u00a0 Gauge Bunkers had a double and two RBIs.\u00a0 Brandenburg and Heinitz each had a hit.\u00a0 Eastman added two RBIs.\u00a0 LeBrun and LaVoy each had one RBI.\u00a0 Bunkers pitched 6 1\/3 innings and allowed two runs, both unearned, on six hits and a walk with eight strikeouts.\u00a0 Cam Jones pitched 2\/3 of an inning and allowed two earned runs on two hits and two walks with one strikeout.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
