Early runs helped the Phils to a 7-1 win over Lake Norden on Friday.\u00a0 They scored three runs in the bottom of the first inning, two in the second, and three in the third for an early 7-0 lead.\u00a0 They maintained the 7-0 lead until the top of the sixth.\u00a0 Lake Norden would get their lone run in the sixth inning.<\/p>\n
Lincoln Fersdahl had two hits, one a double, and an RBI.\u00a0 Talan Millage also had two hits.\u00a0 Mason Stubbe finished with a double and two RBIs.\u00a0 Sutton Williams and Treyse Eastman each had a single.\u00a0 Tad Tjaden and Drake Eastman both had an RBI.\u00a0 D. Eastman pitched seven innings and allowed an earned run on five hits and three walks with nine strikeouts.<\/p>\n
The Phils belted 17 hits and built an early lead to win the first game of the doubleheader on Sunday.\u00a0 Dell Rapids had a six-run first inning and then followed with three runs in the second, one in the third, and two in the top of the fourth for a 12-0 lead.\u00a0 Watertown scored three times in the bottom of the fourth and another in the sixth to make the score 12-4.\u00a0 Dell Rapids had another six-run inning in the top of the seventh to go ahead 18-4.\u00a0 Watertown rallied for five runs in the bottom of the inning.<\/p>\n
D. Eastman had five hits, including a double, and two RBIs.\u00a0 T. Eastman added two doubles and four RBIs.\u00a0 CJ Smith had two singles and three RBIs.\u00a0 Cole Ruesink had two singles and two RBIs.\u00a0 Stubbe had two hits as well with an RBI.\u00a0 Tjaden collected two singles.\u00a0 Williams had a single and an RBI, and Konrad Richeal had a hit.\u00a0 Millage finished with an RBI.<\/p>\n
Watertown broke a 3-3 tie in the bottom of the fourth and took the second game 14-4.\u00a0 They scored first with a run in the bottom of the first and two in the second for a 3-0 lead.\u00a0 Dell Rapids tied the game 3-3 with three runs in the top of the third.\u00a0 Watertown regained the lead with two runs in the bottom of the inning.\u00a0 Dell Rapids cut the lead to 5-4 with a run in the top of the fifth, but Watertown scored two more runs in the fifth and then ended the game on the 10-run rule with seven runs in the bottom of the sixth.<\/p>\n
