The Phils took the lead in the bottom of the first inning with two runs and never tailed in the game.\u00a0 After Sioux Falls cut the lead to 2-1 in the top of the second, Dell Rapids scored two more runs in their half of the inning for a 4-1 lead.\u00a0 Sioux Falls scored another run in the top of the third to make the score 4-2.\u00a0 The Phils extended their lead with a six-run fourth inning and then ended the game on the 10-run rule with two runs in the fifth.<\/p>\n
Mason Stubbe had four hits, including a home run, and three RBIs.\u00a0 Tad Tjaden and Talan Millage both had two hits and two RBIs each.\u00a0 Brandon Schmidt added a single and an RBI.\u00a0 Quinn Carr, Sutton Williams, Treyse Eastman, and Drake Eastman all had one hit each.\u00a0 CJ Smith added an RBI.\u00a0 Lincoln Fersdahl pitched five innings and allowed two earned runs on six hits and a walk with four strikeouts.<\/p>\n
The Phils offense continued to roll in the second game.\u00a0 They scored the first nine runs, getting two runs in the first, two in the second, and five in the fourth.\u00a0 Sioux Falls got a run in the fifth and two in the sixth to make the score 9-3.\u00a0 Dell Rapids added two more runs in the sixth.<\/p>\n
