Dell Rapids was able to outlast Fargo South by scoring in four of the first five innings.\u00a0 Treyse Eastman had an RBI double, and Drake Eastman drew a bases-loaded walk for the first two runs in the bottom of the first inning.\u00a0 Fargo South got one run back in the top of the second.\u00a0 They would take a 3-2 lead in the top of the third after scoring two runs.\u00a0 Dell Rapids regained the lead after an RBI triple by Sutton Williams.\u00a0 Williams then scored on a passed ball for a 4-3 advantage.\u00a0 Jack Henry and Mason Stubbe both stole home in the bottom of the fourth inning to extend the lead to 6-3.\u00a0 Each team got a run in the fifth inning to make the score 7-4.\u00a0 Fargo South added one more run in the top of the seventh.<\/p>\n
T. Eastman had two hits, one a double, and an RBI.\u00a0 Williams had a triple and an RBI.\u00a0 Henry also finished with a triple.\u00a0 Tad Tjaden and Talan Millage each had a hit.\u00a0 D. Eastman finished with an RBI.\u00a0 Henry pitched four innings and allowed three runs, two earned, on three hits and four walks with five strikeouts.\u00a0 D. Eastman pitched three innings and allowed two runs, one earned, on two hits and a walk with three strikeouts.<\/p>\n
In the second game, Dell Rapids scored two runs in the first inning and two more in the second for a 4-0 lead.\u00a0 Red River scored a run in the top of the third, but Dell Rapids added two more runs in the bottom oof the fourth for a 6-1 score.\u00a0 Red River cut the lead in half, 6-3, with two runs in the top of the sixth.\u00a0 Dell Rapids, however, pulled away with three runs in the bottom of the sixth for a 9-3 score.<\/p>\n
Henry had two hits and two RBIs.\u00a0 Cole Ruesink, Stubbe, and Millage all had a hit and an RBI each.\u00a0 T. Eastman and Tjaden both had two hits apiece.\u00a0 Williams and D. Eastman both added an RBI.\u00a0 Quinn Carr pitched 5 2\/3 innings and allowed three runs, two earned, on a hit and six walks with eight strikeouts.\u00a0 Konrad Richeal pitched 1 1\/3 innings and allowed a hit and walk with two strikeouts.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
