In the first game of the double-header, Dell Rapids was able to get a walk-off win in the bottom of the seventh.\u00a0 Groton scored one run in the top of the first.\u00a0 Jack Henry had an RBI ground out in the bottom of the inning for a 1-1 score.\u00a0 Sutton Williams put Dell Rapids in front after an RBI sacrifice bunt in the second inning.\u00a0 Groton tied the game, 2-2, in the top of the third.\u00a0 Cole Ruesink had an RBI single, and Henry followed with an RBI triple putting Dell Rapids back in the lead 4-2 after three innings of play.<\/p>\n
The score remained 4-2 until the top of the sixth.\u00a0 With two outs in the inning, Groton got back-to-back RBI singles to tie the game.\u00a0 With one out in the bottom of the seventh, Dell Rapids was able to get back-to-back walks.\u00a0 Henry drove home the winning run with an RBI single.<\/p>\n
Henry had two hits, one a triple, and three RBIs.\u00a0 Ruesink had a single and an RBI.\u00a0 Williams also had an RBI.\u00a0 Mason Stubbe had two hits, one a triple.\u00a0 Treyse Eastman also had a triple.\u00a0 Carson Maeschen ended with a double.\u00a0 Drake Eastman and Tad Tjaden each had a single.\u00a0 Lincoln Fersdahl pitched 5 1\/3 innings allowing four runs, two earned, on two hits and two walks with six strikeouts.\u00a0 Konrad Richeal pitched 1 2\/3 innings and allowed just two hits.<\/p>\n
The second game went much easier for Dell Rapids.\u00a0 Quinn Carr pitched a four-inning no-hitter as Dell Rapids scored in every inning.\u00a0 Carr finished with four walks and nine strikeouts.\u00a0 Dell Rapids scored two runs in the first, three in the second, four in the third inning, and one more in the bottom of the fourth.<\/p>\n
D. Eastman had three hits and two RBIs.\u00a0 Henry also had three more hits and an RBI.\u00a0 Stubbe added two doubles and an RBI.\u00a0 Ruesink had a single and two RBIs.\u00a0 Talan Millage had a single and an RBI.\u00a0 Williams added a triple.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
