The Dell Rapids Phils not only extended their winning streak to 20 with two more wins on Tuesday, July 11th, they also avenged their only two losses of the season.\u00a0 Sioux Falls Post 15 defeated Dell Rapids two times on June 6th to start the season.\u00a0 Dell Rapids returned that favor with a double header win on Tuesday.<\/p>\n
The Phils got out to a 6-0 lead after they were done hitting in the top of the fourth inning.\u00a0 Post 15 got a run in the bottom of the fourth to make the score 6-1.\u00a0 Dell Rapids added another run in the sixth, and Sioux Falls got two runs in the bottom of the inning.<\/p>\n
Joe Rechtenbaugh finished with two hits and three RBIs.\u00a0 CJ Smith also had two hits and an RBI.\u00a0 Jack Henry and Aiden Boechler each had a single and an RBI.\u00a0 Brayden Pankonen and Treyse Eastman each had a hit.\u00a0 Henry pitched 5 1\/3 innings and allowed three runs, all unearned, on a hit and three walks with 13 strikeouts.\u00a0 Pankonen pitched 1 2\/3 innings and allowed a hit and walk with one strikeout.<\/p>\n
The Phils offense kept rolling in the second game of the double header, but they needed one inning before getting started.\u00a0 Post 15 got an early 1-0 lead with a run in the bottom of the first, but that lead did not last long.\u00a0 Dell Rapids scored three times in the top of the second.\u00a0 Sioux Falls got a run back in the bottom of the inning making the score 3-2.\u00a0 The Phils then got a run in the third and two in the fourth for a 6-2 lead.\u00a0 Post 15 added a run in the bottom of the fourth cutting the Dell Rapids lead in half, 6-3.\u00a0 The Phils continued to roll and scored one run in the fifth, three in the sixth, and four in the seventh.<\/p>\n
Boechler had three hits, one a triple, and an RBI.\u00a0 Mason Stubbe had two hits and four RBIs.\u00a0 Dylan Kindt had two hits and an RBI.\u00a0 Pankonen also had two hits, including a double.\u00a0 Rechtenbaugh and Smith both had a single and an RBI.\u00a0 Henry, T. Eastman, and Drake Eastman all had one hit each.\u00a0 Will Jaton added an RBI.\u00a0 Konrad Richeal pitched five innings and allowed three runs, one earned, on seven hits and three walks with five strikeouts.\u00a0 D.
