The offense for Dell Rapids scored three runs in the bottom of the first, five in the second, and two in the third on their way to a 10-0 win.\u00a0 They held Volga to just two hits in the game.<\/p>\n
CJ Smith had three hits, including a triple, and two RBIs.\u00a0 Brayden Pankonen had three singles.\u00a0 Aiden Boechler finished with two hit, one a double, and an RBI.\u00a0 Jack Henry had a double and two RBIs.\u00a0 Joe Rechtenbaugh had a single and two RBIs.\u00a0 Mason Stubbe had a hit, and Drake Eastman had an RBI.\u00a0 Konrad Richeal pitched all five innings allowing two hits and three walks with six strikeouts.<\/p>\n
Alexandria and Dell Rapids were locked in a scoreless battle for five innings.\u00a0 Dell Rapids put together a four-run rally in the bottom of the sixth for the win.\u00a0 Stubbe had a two-run single, and Will Jaton’s sacrifice fly brought home two runs.<\/p>\n
Henry finished with two hits, one a double.\u00a0 Smith also had two hits.\u00a0 Stubbe had a hit and two RBIs.\u00a0 Boechler and D. Eastman each had a hit.\u00a0 Jaton finished with two RBIs.\u00a0 Jaton pitched 5 1\/3 innings and allowed three hits and three walks with seven strikeouts.\u00a0 Pankonen pitched 1 2\/3 innings recording a strikeout.<\/p>\n
Meeting Alexandria for a second time in the tournament, Dell Rapids scored three times in the first three innings and held Alexandria to just one run and one hit to advance to the championship game.\u00a0 Dell Rapids scored two runs in the second and one run in the third.\u00a0 Alexandria got one run in the sixth.<\/p>\n
Boechler finished with two hits.\u00a0 Pankonen had a double and an RBI.\u00a0 Henry and Stubbe both had a hit.\u00a0 Treyse Eastman added an RBI.\u00a0 T. Eastman pitched five innings without allowing a hit with three walks and seven strikeouts.\u00a0 Rechtenbaugh pitched 1 1\/3 innings and allowed an earned run on two walks and two strikeouts.\u00a0 Pankonen pitched 2\/3 of an inning and allowed one hit.<\/p>\n
Dell Rapids broke a 2-2 tie with four straight runs in the middle innings on their way to an 8-4 win over Tabor in the championship game.\u00a0 Pankonen and Smith both scored on an error in the bottom of the first for a 2-0 lead.\u00a0 Tabor tied the game with two runs in the top of the second.<\/p>\n
Dell Rapids broke the tie with a three-run third.\u00a0 Rechtenbaugh had a two-run single, and Stubbe had an RBI single to go ahead 5-2.\u00a0 Henry had an RBI single in the bottom of the fourth to extend the lead to 6-2.\u00a0 Each team then had two runs in the sixth inning.<\/p>\n
