The Beresford Watchdog track teams competed in the Southeast South Dakota Showcase meet held at the University of South Dakota Lillibridge Track Complex in Vermillion on Thursday, May 22nd.\u00a0 The girls team finished seventh with 38 points.\u00a0 The boys team placed sixth with 62 points.<\/p>\n
Jade Rhody took second in the high jump with a jump of 5’2″.\u00a0 The 4x400m relay team of Ella Merriman, Adelynn Schable, Jade Koth, and Kennedy Merrigan placed third in 4:27.16.\u00a0 The sprint medley relay team of Tavyn Valder, Kylie Mockler, Merrigan, and Merriman was third in 4:35.19.\u00a0 Lillie Boden finished fourth in the 1600m run in a time of 5:53.42.\u00a0 The 4x100m relay team of Valder, Merrigan, Megan Stenen, and Mockler was fourth with a time of :52.62.\u00a0 Molly O’Neil was fifth in the 1600m run in 5:54.08.<\/p>\n
Aidan Hamm won the 300m hurdles in a time of :41.96.\u00a0 Malachi James placed second in the 400m dash in :50.90.\u00a0 The 4x400m relay team of James, Jax Fickbohm, Hamm, and Elias Perez place second in 3:35.05.\u00a0 Perez was third in the 300m hurdles in :43.74.\u00a0 The 4x800m relay team of Josh Merriman, Espyn Klungseth, Hunter Penn and Payden Hoffman took third in 8:55.47.\u00a0 The sprint medley relay team of Evan Rosheim, Justyn Hofer, Micah Hames, and Marcus Aasheim was also third with a time of 4:11.03.\u00a0 Hayden Homandberg was fifth in the 800m run in a time of 2:10.63.\u00a0 The 4x100m relay team of Fickbohm, Hamm, Kohen Schurch, and James was fifth in :44.96.<\/p>\n
