The Black Sox overcame an early deficit to earn an opening round win over Dell Rapids on Friday.\u00a0 Both teams scored a run in the first inning.\u00a0 Dell Rapids took the lead with a run in the second and then added four more in the top of third for a 6-1 lead.\u00a0 The Black Sox scored five times in the bottom of the inning too tie the game 6-6.<\/p>\n
Dell Rapids regained the lead with two runs in the top of the fourth.\u00a0 BAH got one run back in the bottom of the inning, and after four innings of play, Dell Rapids led 8-7.\u00a0 The Black Sox took the lead, 12-8, with five runs in the bottom of the fifth.\u00a0 Dell Rapids cut the lead to 12-9 with a run in the sixth, but the Black Sox scored two more times in the bottom of the inning.<\/p>\n
Liam Moumy had three hits and three RBIs.\u00a0 Evan Rosheim also had three hits with two RBIs.\u00a0 Maxwell Kinney added two doubles and an RBI.\u00a0 Ian Henderson finished with two hits, one a double, and an RBI.\u00a0 Karzen Sommervold also had two hits.\u00a0 Benjamin Seeley, John Savey, and Alex Adams all had one hit each.\u00a0 Cameron Mullinix had an RBI.<\/p>\n
BAH took on Madison in the semifinals on Saturday.\u00a0 Madison scored two runs in the top of the first inning for a 2-0 lead.\u00a0 After a scoreless second inning, Madison put 15 runs on the board in the top of the third inning.\u00a0 The game ended after three innings of play.<\/p>\n
Savey and Sommervold both had one hit each.<\/p>\n
The Black Sox earned a come-from-behind win to take third place over Elk Point-Jefferson on Sunday.\u00a0 BAH did hold a 4-0 lead after the first inning of play.\u00a0 Elk Point-Jefferson responded with six runs in the top of the second for a 6-4 lead.\u00a0 The Black Sox scored a run in the bottom of the second and then tied the game 6-6 with another run in the third.\u00a0 They took the lead, 7-6, with a run in the bottom of the fourth.\u00a0 BAH delivered the big blow of six runs in the bottom of the fifth to extend the lead 13-6.\u00a0 Elk Point-Jefferson got one more run in the sixth.<\/p>\n
Savey finished with two hits and two RBIs.\u00a0 Henderson also had two hits with an RBI.\u00a0 Kinney had a triple with three RBIs.\u00a0 Mason Hofer and Adams both had a triple and an RBI.\u00a0 Mullinix also had a triple.\u00a0 Moumy, Roesheim, and Sommervold all had one hit each.\u00a0 Botson Jensen added an RBI.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
