\"\"The Beresford Watchdogs softball team will be heading to the state tournament after a 6-2 win over the Mobridge-Pollock Tigers in the SoDak 16 on Wednesday, May 22nd.<\/p>\n

Halle Livingston gave Beresford the lead in the bottom of the second after scoring on an error.\u00a0 Reese Olson also scored on an error, and Anna Latendresse scored on a wild pitch for a 3-0 lead.\u00a0 The score stayed 3-0 until the top of the fifth inning.\u00a0 The Tigers scored two times to cut the lead to 3-2.\u00a0 The Watchdogs got three big runs in the bottom of the fifth.\u00a0 Olson had an RBI single, Harley Koth had an RBI double, and Capri Mullinix had an RBI single for a 6-2 score.<\/p>\n

Koth finished with a double and an RBI.\u00a0 Olson and Mullinix both had a single and an RBI each.\u00a0 \u00a0Tavyn Valder also had an RBI.\u00a0 Rylie Laurvick pitched seven innings and allowed two earned runs on three hits with five strikeouts.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
