The Beresford high school team evened their record to 5-5 with a close 3-1 win over Centerville on Wednesday, April 30th.
Centerville scored their lone run in the top of the first for a 1-0 lead. Beresford tied the game after an RBI single by Evan Rosheim in the bottom of the second. Cooper Nelson scored on an error in the bottom of the third for a 2-1 lead. They added to the lead in the bottom of the fifth on an RBI single by Nelson.
Rosheim had two hits with an RBI. Nelson added a single and an RBI. Ethan Bovill had a triple. Ben Seeley had a double, and Jax Fickbohm had a single. Bovill pitched seven innings and allowed an unearned run on five hits and two walks with seven strikeouts.
