The Beresford high school team ended a two-game skid with a big 11-1 win over Wagner on Sunday, April 27th.
Beresford took the lead in the top of the first with three runs and never trailed in the game. Wagner scored their run in the bottom of the first. After a scoreless second and three innings, Beresford scored two runs in the top of the fourth for a 5-1 lead. They would plate six runs in the top of the fifth before the game ended on the 10-run rule.
Jax Fickbohm had two hits, one a double, and an RBI. Ian Henderson had a double with three RBIs. Jace Adams had a double and an RBI. Cooper Nelson added a single with an RBI. Ethan Bovill had a double. Evan Rosheim and Ashton Oberle each had a single. Nelson pitched five innings and allowed an unearned run on three hits and three walks with six strikeouts.
