The Beresford 14U baseball team won a double-header in Elk Point over Elk Point-Jefferson on Monday, July 21st. They won the first game 18-0 and the second game 10-3

Beresford scored in all three innings before the firsts game ended on the 15-run rule. They had six runs in the first inning, seven in the second, and five more in the third. Karzen Sommervold and Stetson Lounsbery combined to allow just two hits to Elk Point-Jefferson.
Mason Hofer had two doubles and four RBIs. Bo Eide had two hits, one a triple, and two RBIs. Lounsbery, Boston Jensen, and Max Kinney all had two hits and an RBI each. Liam Moumy had a double with three RBIs. Evan Rosheim, John Savey, and Bentley Schurch all had a hit. Sommervold pitched two and allowed two hits and a walk with two strikeouts. Lounsbery pitched one inning and had two strikeouts.

The second game lasted just two innings. Beresford scored five runs in both innings. Elk Point-Jefferson had three runs in the bottom of the first.
Kinney had two hits and two singles. Hofer had two hits, one a double, and an RBI. Camdyn Meester and Schurch both had a double with two RBIs each. Lounsbery had a single and two RBIs. Eide added a hit. Garrison Zweifel pitched two innings and allowed three earned runs on a hit and two walks.
