The Beresford 14U baseball team defeated Lennox 19-9 on Wednesday, June 18th in Beresford.
Neither team scored in the first inning. Both teams scored two times in the second inning for a 2-2 score. Lennox added three runs in the top of the third, but Beresford only score two times. Lennox led 5-4 after three innings of play. Beresford then had a nine-run bottom of the fourth to take a 13-5 lead. Lennox scored four times in the top of the fifth to cut the lead to 13-9. Beresford would end the game on the 10-run rule, 19-9, after plating six runs in the bottom of the fifth.
Stetson LLounsbery had three hits, one a double, and four RBIs. Mason Hofer also had three hits and two RBIs. Karzen Sommervold added three singles with an RBI. Evan Rosheim had two hits, one a double, and two RBIs. John Savey had two hits and two RBIs. Boston Jensen ended with two singles and an RBI. Bo Eide had a double, and Bentley Schurch had a single. Max Kinney had an RBI.
