Members of the Beresford Watchdog track team competed at the 2025 South Dakota State A Track an Field Meet in Sioux Falls held Thursday, May 29th through Saturday, May 31st.
Jade Rhody took 10th in the high jump with a leap of 4’11”. The 4x100m relay team of Tavyn Valder, Kennedy Merrigan, Megan Stenen, and Kylie Mockler had a time of :52.97 in the prelims.
Malachi James had a seventh in the 400m dash finals with a time of :51.97. Joseph Sharpe took eighth in the shot put with a throw of 46’9.5″.
Aidan Hamm had a time of :41.66 in the 300m in the prelims, and Elias Perez finished in :44.22. The 4x200m relay time of Jax Fickbohm, Perez, Hamm, and James had a time of 1:33.59. The 4x400m relay team of James, Fickbohm, Hamm, and Perez finished in 3:38.18. The 4x100m relay team of Fickbohm, Hamm, Kohen Schurch, and James finished in :45.26. The sprint medley relay team of Schurch, Perez, Fickbohm, and Hayden Homandberg had a time of 3:51.34.
