The Beresford Watchdog track teams hosted a track meet on Tuesday, May 6th. The boys team finished second with 142 points. The girls team had a fifth place finish with 72.5 points.
Jade Rhody won the high jump with a leap of 5’3″. The sprint medley relay team of Kylie Mockler, Adeylnn Schable, Kennedy Merrigan, and Ella Merriman won with a time of 4:40.77. The 4x800m relay team of Molly O’Neil, Lillie Boden, Sydney DeLay, and Brynn Voss took third with a time of 11:39.20. O’Neil was fourth in the 1600m run in 6:13.77. Harley Koth was fourth in the discus with a throw of 101’8″. Kendra Ellis placed fourth in the high jump at 4’8″. The 4x100m relay team of Brielle Bidne, Kennedy Merrigan, Megan Stenen, and Mockler took fourth in :55.86.
Hunter Penn won the 3200m run in 11:08.53. Aidan Hamm won the 300m hurdles with a time of :42.19. Joseph Sharpe won the shot put with a throw of 45’2″ and finished third in the discus at 138’0″. Elias Perez took second in the 300m hurdles with a time of :42.61 and third in the 110m hurdles in :19.14. The 4x200m relay team of Jax Fickbohm, Hamm, Perez, and Malachi James was second in 1:33.79. James placed third in the 200m dash in :23.27. Hayden Homandberg placed third in the 1600m run in 4:50.82. Henry Huether was third in the 3200m run with a time of 11:50.60. Asher Rodhy was third in the high jump with a leap of 5’7″, and Brock Koth took third in the triple jump with a jump of 38’1.75″.
