The Beresford Watchdog track team traveled to Canton for the Terry Bong Invite on Thursday, May 1st. The boys team finished with 41 points. The girls team had a total of eight points.
The 4x800m relay team of Ella Merriman, Molly O’Neil, Lillie Boden, and Sydney DeLay finished fourth in a time of 11:12.00. Kennedy Merrigan was fifth in the 100m dash with a time of :14.04. The 4x200m relay team of Kylie Mockler, Adelynn Schable, Jade Koth, and Merrigan was fifth in 1:57.71.
Elias Perez won the 300m hurdles with a time of :45.58. Joseph Sharpe took the top spot in the discus with a throw of 145’3″. The 4x100m relay team of Jax Fickbohm, Perez, Kohen Schurch, an Malachi James took second in :45.72. Brock Koth was third in the triple jump with a leap of 37’5″. The 4x800m relay team of Bennett Farley, Oliver Merriman, Noah Halverson, and Caleb Hansen took fourth in 9:56.82.
