Beresford Baseball Wins Third Straight

The Beresford high school baseball team won their third straight game on Saturday, May 3rd.  Beresford took a 15-4 win over Baltic.

After a scoreless first inning, Beresford put six runs on the board in the top of the second.  Baltic cut the lead in half, 6-3, with three runs in the bottom of the third.  Beresford, however, scored the next five runs.  They had two runs in the fourth and three more in the fifth for an 11-3 lead.  Baltic got one more run in the bottom of the fifth.  Beresford got four more runs in the sixth, and the game ended on the 10-run rule after Baltic went scoreless in the bottom of the sixth.

Kasen Voss had two hits, one a double, and one RBI.  Cameron Mullinix had a double and an RBI.  Ian Henderson and Ashton Oberle both had a single with two RBIs.  Cooper Nelson added a hit and an RBI.  Evan Rosheim had a hit.  Jace Adams had two RBIs, and Botson Jensen had one RBI.  Voss pitched six innings and allowed four hits, two earned, on nine hits with four strikeouts.
