The Beresford Watchdog track teams took part in the Mike Seivert Relays in Alcester on Tuesday, April 22nd. The girls team finished seventh with 38 points. The boys team had a second-place finish with 80 points.
Jade Rhody took second in the high jump with a leap of 5’2″. Tavyn Valder finished third in the 100m dash in :13.55. Kendra Ellis placed third in the high jump at 4’8″. Tali Strom was fourth in the 100m hurdles in :19.59 and fourth in the 300m hurdles in :53.52.
Aiidan Hamm won the 300m dash in a time of :42.18. Joseph Sharpe won the discus with a throw of 136’5″ and fourth in the shot put in 40’6″. Payden Hoffman took second in the 3200m run in 11:01.81. Brock Koth was second in the triple jump in a leap of 38’4″. The 4x400m team of Malachi James, Hamm, Hayden Homandberg, and Elias Prerez finished second with a time of 3:38.07. Hunter Penn placed third in the 3200m run in 11:07.06. Jax Fickbohm was third in the 200m dash in :23.93 and fourth in the 400m dash with a time of :54.36. Perez placed third in the 300m hurdles in :45.00. The 4x800m relay team of Homandberg, Hoffman, Hunter Penn, and Espyn Klungseth was third in 8:53.66.
