Beresford Relay Teams Place Well in Centerville

The Beresford Watchdog track teams took part in the Centerville Invitational on Tuesday, April 15th.  All of the relay teams for both the boys and girls had top eight finishes on the day.

Jade Rhody won the high jump with a jump of 5’0″.  Kendra Ellis placed third in the high jump at 4’8″.  Tori Sharpe finished third in the triple jump with a leap of 30’0″.  The sprint medley relay team of Tavyn Valder, Rhody, Kennedy Merrigan, and Ella Merriman was third in 4:42.88.  The 4x200m relay team of Valder, Kylie Mockler, Ellis, and Merrigan also placed third in a time of 1:55.07.  Lillie Boden was fourth in the 1600m run in 6:17.65.  Reese Olson placed fourth in the 100m hurdles in :18.96.  The 4x100m relay team of Megan Stenen, Hanah Colford, Seivert, and Macy Johnson was fourth in :57.98.

The 4x200m relay team of Jax Fickbohm, Aidan Hamm, Kohen Schurch, and Malachi James placed second in 1:35.85.  The 4x800m relay team of Espyn Klungseth, Oliver Merriman, Henry Huether, and Lukas Traxler finished second in 10:07.31.  The sprint medley relay team of Fickbohm, Hamm, James, and Hayden Homandberg was also second in a time of 3:49.57.  Schurch finished third in the 200m dash in :25.57.  Joseph Sharpe was third in the discus with a throw of 125’8.5″.  Caleb Hansen finished fourth in the 3200m run in 12:48.18, and Payden Hoffman was fourth in the 1600m run with a time of 5:00.43.
