The Beresford Watchdogs had their 2024 football season come to an end at home against the Flandreau Fliers on Friday, October 18th.  The Fliers defeated the Watchdogs 35-7.
Beresford scored on the opening drive of the game.  #2 scored on a 16-yard run with 11:02 to play in the opening quarter.  #13 made the extra point giving the Watchdogs an early 7-0 lead.  Flandreau tied the game, 7-7, with 6:23 to play in the first quarter on a nine-yard touchdown pass and extra point.  The Fliers took a 14-7 lead after a 65-yard touchdown pass with 4:52 to play in the second quarter.  Flandreau extended the lead to 21-7 right before halftime.  They scored with :10 left on a 36-yard pass.  The Fliers led 21-7 at halftime.
Flandreau scored on a 14-yard touchdown run with 6:56 to play in the third quarter.  The made extra point extended their lead to 28-7.  The final score of the game came with 4:54 left in the fourth quarter.  The Fliers had another big play, this time a 60-yard touchdown pass.
Beresford finished the season with an overall record of 2-6.
